May 30, 2024 – Celebrated electronic music producer Francis Latreille, known as Priori, releases his highly anticipated album This but More today via NAFF, inviting listeners on a multi-sensory exploration of healing, dreamscapes, and the transformative power of nature.

This but More, Priori’s third full length album, is a work of neo-fantasy worldbuilding featuring close collaborators James. K, Ben Bondy, Jesse-Osborne Lanthier, Sabola, and Adam Feingold. Oscillating between RPG-inflected string compositions, pointillistic techno, hushed IDM, and trip-hop, Priori's expansive sonic palette shine with the album imbued with ear-prickling textures and hypnotic rhythms, melding acoustic experimentation with found sound and varied electronics.

This is music that invites close listening, and in so doing reveals narrative patterns: the perennial cycles of growth and decay; new life humming beneath the ruins; dreams of the sublime. As Priori explains:

“This album is about healing. Not necessarily 'music that heals', as that's a personal experience, but rather about the process with all its ups, downs, beauty, and uncertainty."
– Priori

"This But More" represents a significant evolution in Priori's creative process.

"This is my biggest collaborative project yet," he explains. "I involved collaborators in every aspect: music, visuals, and lore. My goal was to create a cohesive world where all the elements seamlessly interact."
– Priori

Accompanying the album is a collection of suggestive texts written in collaboration with musician and writer Devon Hansen. These ‘analog prompts’ are meant to serve as seeds of inspiration for the listener. A handcrafted medallion is also included, designed by Jewelery maker Ulysse De Lezenne, which, in the hand of the holder, can become a powerfully affirming talisman. As these collaborations reflect the intricate realm crafting of This but More, the album invites listeners to engage with the music on both auditory and visual levels.

And still there’s more, if only you let your mind wander.
